My work with both individuals and institutions understands education to be the fundamental engine of human growth, development, and understanding. Below are the guiding tenets of my approach.

Education is freeing; it compels us to discover or invent modes of action or thought, which expands our capacities to both improve our own lives and affect the world around us.
Education is audacious; it is the process that emboldens us to pursue an idea with confidence, that manifests a fearlessness to think and create, even against the pressures of dissension, or the possibility of being incorrect.
Education is experience; every conscious moment of our lives is an opportunity for education, through present-minded, thoughtful reflection. Educating ourselves this way—by capturing with our senses and understanding with our mind the complexity, beauty, and purity of our lived experience—enriches our lives manifold.
Education is authentic; in our digital age, truth is obscured and authenticity is rare. Education enables us to navigate and filter through the sludge of misguided information and form a more pure and powerful intellect.
Education is a mover; by growing our minds, we enable ourselves to intelligently and successfully act upon the humanistic impulses of our hearts, and can mobilize ourselves and others to enact social change.
Education is timeless; we can learn as much from reflecting upon our earliest memory, as we can from our razor-sharp meditation on our singular present moment, as we can from our whimsical contemplations about the future. Without temporal bounds, we expand our learning potential.
